Arnold and Alleliese Schmied founded the company in 1964,in Linz, Austria and immediately promoted glasses as a fashion accessory, creating models that are characterized by a very high search for quality, exceptional comfort and attention to design.
The company, which designs, manufactures and markets its glasses, is still owned by the Schmied family and is among the world leaders in the optical sector. The production site remained in Linz, which is considered to guarantee high precision and quality.
Among the most famous models are Futura, from the 70s and the iconic TitanMinimal, very light and without a frame.
